2011
So I, as always, made New Year’s Resolutions this year. I usually make a ton of really unrealistic goals. But rather than making about 70, two of which I will keep by pure chance, I have just made three. By sharing them I figure I am increasing the likelihood of me keeping them - so here goes.
1) Exercise
Obviously. But hopefully the vagueness of it will make it keepable - as long as I am exercising, I am good.
2) Read the Bible all the way through
I have read all of the Bible. But never chronologically. Its like watching Friend’s straight through only with real things - I am excited to see how the story unfolds.
3) Appreciate the beauty in life
Most of my new year’s resolutions in the past have been about making a better me. I want to always strive to be a better me - but this year I would like to make my goal to focus on all of the blessings I have already and the beauty that surrounds me.
Since this one is super hard to keep track of, I have added a practical aspect - I want to take a picture everyday of something I find beautiful or appreciate.
Happy 2011, wishing you all blessings and beauty this new year.
